Together at Fantasy Faire 2025
INTRODUCTION from Viktor
A year has passed quickly. We applied for Fantasy Fairy again and are thrilled to have secured a spot once more. This event holds significant meaning for us, and we eagerly anticipate it each year as fantasy enthusiasts, illustrators, writers, and designers.
Over the past year, we have experienced several changes in our virtual lives, some positive and some challenging. However, we remain committed to moving forward with determination, creativity, and the support of our loved ones.
Good changes:
We have merged and relocated our brands, Arkona and Find the Fish, to a new location, and have also integrated Tara's brand (her store) into our offerings. We frequently collaborate on joint collections and generally combine our products for partner sales, participating together in various events. Now, all three brands are housed in one building, across different floors. We even held an opening event that featured a concert and a fashion show, showcasing our collections and products from the past half year.
You can find a full review of the event, along with images of the new building, including ethnic and fantasy styles created by our stylist friends, in Tara's article.
Not-So-Good News
On a less positive note, on July 1, 2025, we lost the Dragon Sanctuary sim. Unfortunately, this meant that all our projects in Second Life, including the Art Gallery, Museum, Pilgrimage, and event space, were lost. It was a difficult loss.
For the moment, I am now exploring options to partially restore the projects differently and media, or at least place some objects in other art venues or galleries in Second Life.
Our projects accomplished in 2025:
TOGETHER AT FANTASY FAIRE 2025
Fantasy Fairy always holds a special place in our hearts. However, it is an enormous territory with over 20 regions and a packed schedule of events each day, making it impossible to see and experience everything. This year, we decided to visit only a few of our favorite regions and added the photos to our family archive.
I must commend Tara for her amazing work with the photos and videos. She created mini-reviews and presentations for each region and produced an impressive video submitted to the FF Video competition. Unfortunately, it went largely unappreciated, as it was fundamentally different from the others. Tara's video had a strong narrative, great music, an improved storyboard, and a powerful message about reincarnation, faith, love, and hope—values that, apparently, were not considered by the judges. You can view everything at the provided links below.
We also took a part for making special video in collaboration with our best friend Tara. This is a story about reincarnation, faith and love through the eternity, based on world famous chinese novel "Heaven Officials' Blessing" by Mo Xiang Tong Xiu. We did a remake of one fandom story with main characters: Hua Cheng and Xie Lian, a past-future story line.
MUSEUM STORY: RECALL MY NAME Video Festival Entry
This year, we didn’t spend much time deciding what to wear for our journey. We created a fantasy blend of new seasonal tattoos from Find the Fish, starting with a full-bodied black modesty piece from Arkona. We added wings from Tara, long skirts, lowered robes, and fur from Gabriel. Of course, we included our favorite accessories, such as a halo, ethnic headpieces, brushes, fish, branches, and the Cihuai sword, all from Air.
Viktor put together a combination of white and black with yellow accents, using the Winter Royal Court tattoo, while Orpheus opted for orange in his look, incorporating the Autumn Royal Court tattoo. It was a coordinated style between the twins, complete with unique nuances and personal touches from each of them.
